Jordan Megolonyo

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Jordan Megolonyo brings over eight years of specialised expertise in human rights law, transitional justice, and civic space protection. His practical focus is the protection and promotion of human rights:

He legal background is nuanced by specialised international human rights training from the University of Oslo's Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, and is internationally certified in protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, safeguarding, and international conflict analysis and peacebuilding. Recognised among East Africa's emerging civic leaders through competitive regional fellowships in leadership and creative advocacy, Jordan pairs rigorous legal expertise with a rare ability to translate human rights principles into practical policy and programme design.

Jordan Megolonyo is also a spoken word poet and percussionist who uses creative expression as a tool for civic engagement and social change.  He brings a distinctive ability to translate human rights and governance principles into accessible, culturally resonant forms - reaching audiences and communities that conventional advocacy often struggles to engage.
